Girl meets farm meatball stuffed biscuits

These meatball stuffed biscuits are a flaky treat with a meaty surprise in the center. If you love meatball recipes , this is sure to become a favorite! Much like my stuffed mushrooms , they are perfect for game days when you have friends and family over, or they make a great grab and go dinner for soccer nights! Stuffed biscuits are one of those kind of dishes that look fancy but are actually really simple. Bring along a container of warm marinara and they are perfect for a grab and go dinner. This recipe also calls for string cheese, but if you have bulk or shredded Mozzarella that works too.

Made these tonight with a few tweeks for a dinner meal instead of an app. I layed the dough flat and put 2 small pieces of medium cheddar and chopped onions. Sprinkled with seasoning salt and then added a whole meatball.

Sprinkled with garlic powder, italian seasoning and just a little p. Cooked the same as directions. I have made these twice: once according to the recipe and once with a few changes. Here are my suggestions to making these little crack bites you'll know what I mean once you try one The kind I used were 2 oz each. I cooked them for 20 min total and put the cheese on at 15 min. They are seriously SO good. Whenever two adults and a 10 yr old boy ask for more, you know you did something right!

Made these for a party and they were very popular. I changed a few things. I used a whole meatball and instead of string cheese I used slices of mozzarella and used a half of slice to wrap around the meatball before wrapping in biscuit. Also wait until after or the last few minutes of the baking for the parmesan cheese.

These are easy and yummy!! I made these for a get together today, made exactly as directed. For the future, I've decided to tweek the recipe by using a full meatball and use slices of Jack Pepper cheese and wrap the meatball in that before wrapping in the biscuit. They were good, but need cheese all around the meatball. I used an entire meatball, doubled the cheese, and used half of the biscuit. My family loved it that way. In fact I have to now make them for the soccer ending season party and the high school graduation dinner.

Made these with high hopes. What a let down. Not enough meat and cheese and they seemed very doughey. Cut each piece of string cheese into 4 pieces. Brushed tops with a butter, pizza seasoning, garlic mix, then sprinkled with parmesan cheese before baking. After they were done, I brushed the tops again with melted butter. These were fantastic! My husband is taking the leftovers to work for lunch. Using the full size Grands, it made 16 biscuits. These would made great appetizers. Will definitely make again.

Also tried pepperoni, monterey jack cheese and slice of fresh jalepeno pepper they did not last long. We LOVE the idea of these! I bake as individual balls - and serve with sauce. Big Hit! I tweaked it a little bit. I used shredded mozarella because that was all i had on hand. After all of the wrapped meatballs were in my baking dish, I poured some melted garlic butter over everything and then sprinkled all of the seasoning using extra garlic.

I served it with spaghetti noodles and spaghetti sauce. It was great. I made these last night and WOW super easy!!! I took the advice of many and doubled the cheese. I will next time make sure to put the cheese on TOP of the meatball inside the dough that way it will melt all over I had a piece on either side. My son took them to school for lunch the next day!!! Easy to make, delicious, and what a crowd pleaser.

This one is a keeper!!! I used leftover meatloaf and cut into bite size squares. I used cheddar and jack cheese also so each time you took a bite it was a suprise. My kids loved it as a great way to use up the leftover meatloaf. Absolutely a hit. We have made this recipe for three different parties and all we took home was an empty pan. So easy! My son made these with his friends at a scouting campout and won the cooking contest!

They where cooked in a dutch oven with hot coals. They used a whole meatball and whole biscuit to make bigger servings. Everyone loved them. I used my own home made meatballs and Grands Flaky bisquits pulled apart. Also made some with cheddar. Really good! I can't read the other reviews.

Therefore, will not attempt to make it. These were great and easy to make. Family loved them! Would like to try them with homestyle meatballs and maybe brown gravy for the sauce.
