Not exactly. Jesus was criticizing the legalistic habits of the religious leaders of the day. They were great at seeing the "letter of the law," which is what the law literally says, but they did not grasp the "spirit of the law," which is the intent behind the law. When you find someone attractive and then find yourself looking for a bit longer than you normally would, do a check on your heart and your motives. Why are looking? Are you merely admiring their attractiveness? Or are you imagining them in a sexual manner?

Personally, God brought me to a brick wall some years back with my porn addiction, and showed me that it had had to end, period. I am a Christian and worship in a congregation of the Church of Christ. We as a rule tend to take the most accurate meaning of the original text as being the most correct when dealing with Scripture, that being the case I have the following questions. In part this comes for your answer in Am I no longer a virgin if my boyfriend touched certain areas? Many see this as any woman, and is what you seem to be saying in your answer, would not the term adultery make the requirement that at least either the man or the woman being spoken of be married?
