Girl meets world farkle transformation

In some regards friendship it succeeded and in others romance there was room for concern. In short, Girl Meets World is getting real. He actually cares about these girls, but his joke count and hilarious antics cut into his screen time. No more turtleneck, an added black toboggan, and a new chill attitude — Farkle is suddenly kind of cool. And, miraculously the episode let him stay that way.

In some regards friendship it succeeded and in others romance there was room for concern. In short, Girl Meets World is getting real. He actually cares about these girls, but his joke count and hilarious antics cut into his screen time. No more turtleneck, an added black toboggan, and a new chill attitude — Farkle is suddenly kind of cool.

And, miraculously the episode let him stay that way. Until last night, my biggest concern with Girl Meets World was Lucas. The audience sees Lucas present in the episode, doing something important, and caring about something of his own — a simple but much needed moment for the character and series with hopefully many more to come. Then of course, if the plan is to love triangle the trio the worry became what if the subject is handled in a single episode? Girl Meets World loves to cram a lot of content into each episode with varying results , but having Maya and Riley competing over Lucas or even emotionally dealing with the dilemma in twenty minutes?

What a mess that would be. Riley spends the episode trying to alter her personality, rather than blaming her best friend. One of the worst things as a viewer is to see the least trusted character do something stupid with a secret only they know and one of the best things as a viewer is the exact opposite.

This kind of romantic situation usually pits characters against one another but Girl Meets World manages to turn it into a moment of true friendship, while still foreshadowing changes to come. It appears that the GMW writers have an extensive but solid plan and every time more of it unfolds the show grows up a little and becomes more like its classic inspiration.

Girl Meets World Just Evolved Past Three of Its Biggest Road Blocks in One Episode

Farkle Minkus is a main character in Girl Meets World. Farkle exhibits personality traits of both his parents. Much like Stuart, he is a genius and a nerd; and like Jennifer, he is confident and masterful. Farkle is attached to and protective of both Riley and Maya, and used to say that he loved them equally until he became the boyfriend of his former academic rival, Isadora Smackle.

Farkle Minkus

Farkle has had a crush on Riley since first grade, but she doesn't feel the same way and only considers him a close friend. In Girl Meets the Truth , Riley and Farkle shared their first kiss and although he mostly kissed her chin, they said it still counts. After, the events of Girl Meets Farkle it seems that Farkle has gotten over his crush on Riley the same goes for him and Maya as in recent episodes he isn't as affectionate as he used to be when the series started. They are considered to be close childhood friends and it is shown in some episodes such as " Girl Meets the Truth ", " Girl Meets Flaws ", " Girl Meets Texas Part 3 " that Farkle and Riley share a strong and deep bond. When he confronts Riley about it, she admits he's right and begs him to not tell anyone; Farkle agrees, but stipulates that Riley has to come clean to everyone or else he will. Riley tells Farkle she loves him. By Girl Meets The New Year , Riley still has not revealed her feelings, so right at midnight Farkle loudly announces to everyone at the party that she still loves Lucas, leaving everyone stunned. In Girl Meets STEM Riley calls Farkle a sexist pig when he takes over their science project and let her drop the marble, rather than letting her do the science. She wants to learn more about science and felt as if he was not valuing her scientific ability.

Girl Meets the Bay Window

Like many of you, we ' re not ready to let go of this show. But rather than wallow in self-pity, let ' s reflect on how much the cast as changed from the first episode to their last. Now, Rowan is a major public activist who ' s working to change the world. She ' ll even be starring in the movie adaptation of the novel A Wrinkle in Time , which is expected to be released sometime next year.
